About Us

Agromonte started at the month of febraury in 2004, after selling the company Royal Coast Tropical Fruit. The project begins with 54 hectares; in the same year reach the 600 hectares, for a total of 2100 hectares, where today focuses its operations. Of these 2100 hectares, 700 hectares are devoted to the protection of: wetlands, forests, rivers and lakes.

Those lands wich consolidates pineapple production, specifically in the areas of Boca Arenal and Muelle in San Carlos, were used for decades to sugarcane plantations, orange groves and cassava, which created jobs only in the harvest seasons.

In 2005, being built in Boca de Arenal, a modern packing plant pineapple. With 3000 square meters, capacity for 400 containers monthly pack, cold rooms and latest technology to maintain quality of export product, to ensure workers' occupational health and protect the environment. Currently the plant has a computerized system, where the fruit is selected according to the ranges of weights, which require international markets.
